Hey, I have played in a lot of poker tournament in the last couple of months at Pokerstars.net and found some funny things you have to know if you wanna earn good money.

Here is some of my observations

- Dont play too risky on start : peoples are always going “All in” in the first 15 minutes of the tournament.

- Dont go “All in” : The best trick to stay in a tournament for a long period is to never go “All in”. You can bet a good bunch but if it is possible to avoid the “All in”, avoid it.

- Avoid to play against someone with more money than you : If you always play against people with more money than you, he could push you to the “All in” and then you are probably screwed.

- Stay calm, Be patient : Holdem Tournament are games you can win even if you get bad cards most of the time. Wait for a good hand. You cant lose with a good hand.

I have started to do this in all Pokerstars Holdem tournament and since this, I’ve always finished in the last 100 out of 10,000 players.

Now, let’s start a new poker tournament with these tricks and you will come again on my blog. Dont forget to subscribe to my RSS.

See ya

A variation of an Italian game introduced in France at the end of the 15th century, Baccarat appeared in North America early in the 20th century. Since, many gambling strategy appears.

The object of the game: Players attempt to predict which of the two hands (Player or Banker) will have a point total closest to 9, the highest value for a hand.

Baccarat is played with six or eight decks of cards dealt from a shoe. Players may wager on the Player hand (Joueur) or on the Banker hand (Banque). Players wagering on the Banker hand must add a commission equal to 5% of their wager in the appropriate area on the layout. They may also wager on a tie (Égalité). All bets must be placed before the dealer draws the first card from the shoe.

Players must respect the minimum and maximum limits indicated at the table when placing their bets. These limits may vary from one table to the next.

The Cards

Face cards and tens count as 0, Aces count as 1 and all other cards are counted at face value. The value of each hand is the last digit of the sum of the cards.

For example: 10 + 4 + 9 = 13. The value of this hand is 3.The Deal

With each hand being dealt, the first and third cards dealt from the shoe make up the Player hand, and the second and fourth cards, the Banker hand. Once the cards are distributed, the dealer announces the point count for each hand.

If the total of one of the two hands, each made up of two cards, is 8 or 9, the hand is called a Natural, and no other cards are dealt for the Player hand or the Banker hand. Otherwise, a third card may be drawn, as the case may be, for the Player hand or the Banker hand.

* A wager on the Player hand (Joueur) wins and is paid even money (1 to 1) if the total value of the Player hand is higher than that of the Banker hand. It loses if its total value is lower than that of the Banker hand.

Payouts: * A wager on the Banker hand (Banque) wins and is paid even money (1 to 1) if the total value of the Banker hand is higher than that of the Player hand. It loses if its total value is lower than that of the Player hand. When a wager on the Banker hand is a winner, the 5% commission on the amount of the wager is collected. If the wager is not a multiple of 10, the commission is calculated based on the next higher multiple of 10. * A wager on a tie (Égalité) wins and is paid 8 to 1 if the total value of the Player hand is equal to that of the Banker hand. It loses if the total value of the Player hand and the Banker hand is different. In the case of a tie, the wagers on both the Player hand and the Banker hand are a push, i.e. they neither win nor lose.

What You Should Know

Like any other gambling games, your chance to win is much greater if you apply good Black Jack strategy. You should know what to do on every hand and how much money to bet.

More important, taking the free strategy gambling tips course and be a winner when you play and in your life.

Let’s take a look of different aspect of Black Jack.

The Origin

Blackjack, which used to be known as Vingt-et-un and then Twenty-one, appeared in Europe at the beginning of the 18th century. It was an instant hit in France. Introduced in the United States at the beginning of the 19th century, Blackjack is currently considered one of the world’s most popular casino games.

The Object

The object of the game is to win, the player must beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21.

The Bets

Players purchase their chips from the dealer and make their bets in accordance with the minimum and maximum table limits.

The Deals

The dealer deals the cards from a shoe. Only the dealer may touch the cards. The dealer deals two cards face up to each player, and one card face up and one card face down to himself.

Aces count as 1 or 11, face cards count as 10 and all other cards are counted at face value. A Blackjack occurs when the first two cards of a hand are an Ace and a 10 or a face card, i.e. a two-card hand with a total value of 21, the highest possible score at Blackjack.

Player Options

Based on the total of his first two cards and the value of the dealer’s face up card, the player has the following options:

Hit, i.e. draw one or several additional cards to improve his hand without going over 21.

Stand if he is satisfied with his hand.

Split a pair, i.e. two cards of the same value, up to a maximum of four hands. Each hand is then played separately. Aces may be split only once and the player receives only one additional card for each hand. When splitting a hand, the player must wager an additional amount equal to his original bet. There is no Blackjack on split pairs.

Double down, i.e. wager an additional amount equal to the original bet after the first two cards are dealt, except if the two cards dealt total 21. A player may also double down after splitting a pair, except in the case of a pair of Aces. In all cases, the player receives only one additional card after doubling down.

Take insurance if the dealer’s face up card is an Ace. In this case, the player may wager a sum equal to one-half of his original bet on the insurance line. If the dealer draws a Blackjack, the insurance bet pays 2 to 1. If the dealer fails to draw a Blackjack, the player loses his insurance bet.

Best Black Jack Strategy

H = Hit

S = Stand

D = Double if allowed, otherwise hit

Ds = Double if allowed, otherwise stand

SP = Split

SR = Surrender if possible, otherwise hit

If you learn and apply that call structure you eliminate the house edge. So if you play Black Jack Online where they offer good top gambling bonus, you follow my course so you are not a looser anymore you can’t miss.

The House Strategy

After having revealed his face down card, the dealer completes his hand, as necessary, according to the house strategy, which is in accordance with what is indicated at the table:

Hit on a count of soft 17 or less and stand on hard 17 and more.

Hit on a count of 16 or less and stand on all 17s (soft or hard) or more.

Soft HandHand in which an Ace may have the value of either 1 or 11 without the total value of the hand exceeding 21.

Example: A soft 17 is a hand that could be made up of an Ace and a 6 for a total value of 7 or 17.

Hard HandHand with no Aces or one in which Aces have only the value of 1.

Example: A hard 17 is a hand that could be made up of a 10, a 6 and an Ace for a total value of 17.

Payouts

A bet wins if:

The total value of the player’s hand is 21 or less and exceeds the value of the dealer’s hand.

The total value of the player’s hand is 21 or less and the dealer’s hand is over 21.

The player’s hand is a Blackjack while the total value of the dealer’s hand is 21, with three cards or more.

A Blackjack is paid 3 to 2, as long as the dealer does not draw a Blackjack himself, which would be considered a tie.

Any other winning hand is paid even money.

When the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand tie, neither wins nor loses and the player takes back his bet.

If the value of the player’s hand exceeds 21, he loses his bet.

Standing Players

A player who is standing may wager on the hand of a player who is seated provided there is an available spot on the layout for this purpose and that the limits per hand indicated at the table are respected. The standing player is bound by the seated player’s decisions, except that he is not required to take insurance, split, or double down when the seated player does so.

There is so many different roulette strategy and for so many years that I think that gambling system martingale was create for that specific game.

A lot of fortune was made and lost in european casino since almost 300 years. Its the looser #1 betting activity. But don’t be fooled, there is a lot of money to make for the wise gambler.

The Origin

Introduced in mid 18th century France by a police lieutenant general named Sartine, Roulette is an exciting game that is easy to play.

The English Roulette wheel is divided into slots numbered 0 to 36.The American Roulette wheel is divided into slots numbered 0, 00 to 36.

The Bets

In both English Roulette and American Roulette, there are two categories of bets:

Inside bets, on which the player may bet on one, two, three, four, five, or six numbers with a single wager.

Outside bets, on which the player may bet on twelve or eighteen numbers with a single wager.

During each game, the player may bet on as many numbers or combinations of numbers as he likes. However, the wagers on each betting spot must respect the minimum and maximum amounts indicated at the table. The player places his wheel checks on the specific betting spot of the table layout himself, or he may ask the dealer to do so. Each player is responsible for the positioning of his wager on the Roulette layout, even if he is assisted by the dealer.

BET DESCRIPTION PAYOUT

INSIDE BETS

A) Straight up - One number - 35 to 1

B) Split - Two numbers - 17 to 1

C) Street - Three numbers - 11 to 1

D) Corner - Four numbers - 8 to 1

E) English - 0, 1, 2, 3 - 8 to 1

American - 0, 00, 1, 2, 3 - 6 to 1

F) Sixline - Six numbers - 5 to 1

G) English - 0 straight up - 35 to 1

American - 0/00 Split - 17 to 1

OUTSIDE BETS

H) Dozen - 1/12 -13/18 -19/36 - 2 to 1

I) Column - Twelve Numbers - 2 to 1

J) Low/High - Black/Red - Odd/even - 1 to 1

Wheel Checks (Chips)

All players in a Roulette game place their wagers in the same betting area. In order to eliminate confusion over the ownership of the inside bets, each player purchases wheel checks of a specific color at the table and determines their value before beginning to play. This way, each player plays with wheel checks of a different color. As a result, wheel checks may only be played at the table where they were purchased. They have no value anywhere else and the player must exchange them for regular value chips before leaving the table.

The Game

The dealer spins the wheel in one direction and the Roulette ball in the other. Bets may be made until the dealer announces « Rien ne va plus » (No more bets!). For a spin to be valid, the ball must complete at least seven revolutions without any obstruction. When the ball comes to rest on a number, the dealer announces the winning number and marks it on the layout. All wagers involving this number are winners and are paid according to the payout in the betting charts. All other wagers lose. Players must wait for the dealer to announce « Faites vos jeux » (Place your bets) before placing their bets for the next game.

Roulette Winning Strategy

There is two family of betting strategy for Roulette. For both, you beter play on European roulette than American. Its a matter of logic, the house edge is doubled on american roulette.

Depending of the strategy you adopt, you must consider play automatic roulette if you betting system is easy. If you need more time to calculat and place your bet then you better play on table with a lot of player so you will get enough time to play between the draw.

The Martingale

The martingale is a strategy that consist of rising your bet when you loose. That kind of bet takes big bankroll and it is very risky. It is not my favoriye way of playing. With that strategy, you win most of the time but when you loose you loose big.

The Progression Strategy

the progression strategy is the opposite of the martingale. You raise your bet when you win. There is slow or fast raising and I do like both of them.Patience, confident and good bankroll management leads to certain success.

I can show you some progression technics. Very soon downloadable strategy will be available at very low price. Bookmark my site and come back next week.

I will show you how to overthrown the minimum and maximum bet of the table in casino. How to make a lot of money with small bankroll. Also will be available a system to beat online casino software. That system is so powerful that you should limit yourself if you don’t want to be banned from most of the online casino.

SUPERFECTA STRATEGY

It is not easy to find a good superfecta strategy as that bet is very risky. Superfecta betting ask you to pick the first four finishers in a horse race in exact order quite a challenge.

Of course, the payment goes with the challenge. Winning a superfecta pay regularly over $25 000, I have see a couple of times paying more than $100 000 so it worth a try.

Since it is very difficult to determine the top four finishing horses without playing a lot of combinations which can be very costly, the superfecta is not a very popular bet among seasoned handicappers. If by chance, the top four finishers are a standout and easily determined, then the return on the wager is generally very low and can easily be smaller than the amount of money required to hit the winning combination. Nevertheless, I will give you the details if you choose to be daring.

Superfecta Bet Type

Straight Superfecta

The simplest form of this wager is the Straight Superfecta, which is a single combination of the first four finishers. The minimum bet for a Straight Superfecta is $2.

I recommand you never play a straight superfecta strategy. I will explain why later.

Superfecta Box

The Superfecta Box has a $1 minimum bet per combination — $24 minimum total cost. You can box four or more horses on a single ticket and wager $1 (or more) on each combination. Recently some Race Track offer $0.20 bet.

The following examples are for a $1 Superfecta Box:

4 horse box ( 24 combinations) Cost $ 245 horse box (120 combinations) Cost $1206 horse box (460 combinations) Cost $4607 horse box (840 combinations) Cost $840

The following exemples are for a $0.20 Superfecta Box:

4 horse box ( 24 combinations) Cost $4.805 horse box (120 combinations) Cost $246 horse box (460 combinations) Cost $927 horse box (840 combinations) Cost $168

Superfecta Key

The Key Wager requires the key horse to finish FIRST with any combination of three or more horses finishing second, third and fourth. For example, if your key horse is #5 and your other horses are number’s 2, 4, 6 and 8, you will win if #5 finishes FIRST and three of your other four horses finish second, third and fourth.

Superfecta Full Wheel

You may select one or more horses to finish in any given position and combine these selections withall possible entries in the other positions. The number of combinations will vary according to the total number of horses in the race.

Superfecta Part Wheel

The Superfecta Part Wheel is offered at a $1 minimum bet per combination and recently some horse track offer $0.20 bet. It is now possible to make a Superfecta wager coupling one or more horses to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

The Superfecta Gambling Strategy

Ok ! Enough of the general informations about superfecta let’s get into the matter of making money with that bet.

First thing to understand

about superfecta is that the betting pool must be big enough. You must play superfecta where the pool is big. Avoid to bet superfecta in small horse race track. Why ???

Like any other bet you do on horse race remember its a mutual wagering and you can’t win the money that is not in the pool. So the biggest is the pool the biggest are the chances you win big.

Win big must be the goal of playing superfecta.

Second thing: Play the smallest amount per bet or combination possible. If ever you got the chance to play $0.20 superfecta where the mutual pool is big play there. Why ???

Say for exemple you catch a superfecta using big long shot in your combination. By chance you are the only one playing that combination. You will win the complete pool no matter you bet $2, $1 or 0.20 per bet and collect the same amount of money.

Favorite & Long Shot Superfecta Strategy

Here’s the strategy I use and suggest you do the same.

Choose two horse that seems the most likely to win the race. We call them A1 and A2.

Take the two highest long shot on the board place them in the second spot. We call them L1 and L2.

Random the 3rd and 4th place as you like.

Cost for $0.20A1-A2 with L1-L2 with 2 horses (3rd-4th) $1.60

with 3 horses $4.80

with 4 horses $9.60

with 5 horses $16.00

Fisrt Half Speed Superfecta Strategy

Another very good superfecta strategy is about guessing if the starter or the staller will get the advantage. Divide the field in two 4 horses with fast start speed call them the A and 4 horses without call them the B.

Pick the one you like the most between the A call him A1.Put him first and second as a key with the three others.

A1 (A-A-A) (A-A-A) (A-A-A) $6.00 for $1.00 bet

(A-A-A) A1 (A-A-A) (A-A-A) $6.00 for $1.00 bet

Same process with the 4 staller horses.

Conclusion

Don’t expect regular gain with superfecta strategy. The idea behind that bet is to win big once in a while. I recommand you keep a seperate bankroll and record about that bet.

The tip betting on line you gonna read here will probably schock you or make you feel very skeptical. Wich is very normal and sane if I can say. Playing in Online Casino and making money on a regular basis seems for many impossible. In fact, in most of the case it is truly impossible.

But there is a way and you are very close to know how. Of course, you got to follow a winning gambling strategy. The beauty with that the Online Casino will gives you free money so you can choose the top gambling bonus on the web and make money without risking anything from your own pocket. Too good too be true ? I guess so but it’s real.

Another important detail, this tip betting on line is perfectly legal. On the other end, you got to be low profile when you play. Means, don’t be greedy, don’t play too long, change table often and any other way make sure they don’t pay attention to you. Cause even if it’s not illegal, there is no Online Casino or land base play house that like to loose money. So, they can close your account without any reason but don’t worry your money will be refund and you gonna have to find another casino.

That’s all !

You will not be rich with that gambling system but you can make between $500 and $1000 every week. If you think it worth 2 hours of work a day and if you like playing roulette online then it’s for you.

It is certainly the most simple game you can imagine. Here’s an overview of that game.

The Goal

To receive a card which ranks higher than the dealer’s card or to try to win the War when the rank of the two cards is equal.

The Games

The player places an initial bet in the appropriate spot on the layout and must respect the minimum and maximum limits indicated at the table. The dealer deals each player one card and deals himself a card as well. He then compares each player’s card with his own.

If the player’s card ranks higher than the dealer’s card, the player’s initial bet wins and is paid even money.

If the player’s card ranks lower than the dealer’s card, his initial bet loses.

The War

When the player’s card is equal in rank to the dealer’s card, the player may either abandon and forfeit half of his initial bet or go to War.

To go to War, the player must place an additional bet in an amount equal to his initial bet. Another card is dealt to the player and then to the dealer.

If the player’s card ranks higher than the dealer’s card, the player wins the War and is paid even money on his initial bet. The player thus takes back both his initial and additional bets.

If the player’s card is equal in rank to the dealer’s card, the player wins the War and is paid even money on both his initial bet and additional bet. The player thus takes back both his initial and additional bets.

If the player’s card ranks lower than the dealer’s card, the player loses his bets.

Casino War Tie Bet

In addition to his initial bet, the player may place a supplemental bet (Tie bet) which wins if his first card is equal in rank to the dealer’s first card. This bet must respect the minimum and maximum limits indicated at the table.

Tie bet pays 10 to 1.

The Casino War Strategy

Like Roulette or Baccarat, the Casino War strategy is divided between the two major philosophy: The Martingale and the Progression.

As you know I advocate the progression betting strategy. You can apply or adapt many roulettes and baccarat system to the Casino War.

You can have a look on the different downloadable version system I offer for very low price and start making money playing Casino War on Land Base Casino or Online Casino.

For Online Casino I recommand the Intertops casino. They pay well and fast. You can play system and be paid for your gain. I suggest you follow the free course first. You can open an Intertops account and play small to get use with the software.

The Winning Streak Strategy

What is great about playing horse race is that you don’t have to fight against a machine or against any gambling house. You compete against all the other gamblers on a mutual bet. As far as I know most of them are pathetic losers.

So if you follow my course and learn how to be a winner;

If you know to how to pick up horses with a good handicapping skill (You will find some tips here to help you being a good handicapper);

Then the only think left to make you a big winner on horse race is a good horse race strategy. I play many horse race strategy in my life and the ”Powerful Winning Streak Strategy” is the best to build your bankroll.

Even after you build a good bankroll you will keep on playing that strategy and will love it.

I personnaly play 3 systems when I’m betting on horse race. The Powerful Winning Streak strategy, the best bet strategy and a Superfecta strategy. The first one is surely the one that provide me profit on the most regular basis.

You can learn that incredible strategy for only $9.95. Click on the link to buy it now.

Handicapping Tips

There is so many things to consider to handicaping horse race. Betting horse race and watching the race horse through the wire is very exciting. With internet now, it is also possible watching the race and betting horse online. Predicting horse race result with accurrance is almost a science. I learned that science for more than 25 years now.

There is two major kind of horse race track. One present harness horse race and the other thoroughbred horse race. The harness race the jockey sit on a bicycle call sulky and thoroughbred the jockey sit directly on the horse. It’s a a very different horse race game but at the same time, we are dealing with the same animal so there is many similitude. Also both are mutual wagering betting pool. Two kind of harness horse: trotter and pacer. Two different thouroughbred horse track; turf and ground.

Mutual bet mean that all the money goes in one pot and will be divide by the number of winner. The horse race track take a percentage, sometimes the governement take a tax on it. At the end, an average of 70% only return to gambler. So it is very hard to beat such disadvantage. To compare, the house edge in american roulette is 5 %. On the other end, roulette give the same odds to anybody. For horse race you can take advantage upon bad player because that money is available for you. In conclusion, in horse race good gambler an edge. To bet horse race, you should know what you are doing or you better play another game.

The most important factors to consider to pick a horse race winner are: the jockey, the trainer, the horse, the field condition, the starting position and the odds. Let see each of them.

The Jockey

You must know the jockey you are betting on. Every horse track have their leaders and it is important to bet on one of them. Some exception may occurred. For exemple, a big stake with a lot of outside horse and stable bringing their own jockey. But for usual daily race, choose one of the best jockey.

How to do that ? Have a look on local horse race program all the information are there. You can also buy the daily racing form wich give information on many different horse race tracks. When its possible, try to know who is hot and who is not.

Also check the secondary jockey (meaning not a leader but a regular jockey) that obtain a good result in one of the first races of the night. For exemple, the 7th ranking jockey of the track get a finishing result second with a long shot in the first race. Two or three race later, the same jockey win a race.

Why it is like that ? Well, many theory on that. Some said, its the pay day for that jockey as everyone of them should earn money to live. Some said, that the jockey betting agent play that night. I really don’t know if its true but lets say at least the guy is hot and pay attention to him.

Famous Jockey: Jerry Bailey

Jerry Bailey is a jockey extraordinaire. He started his career in 1974 at the age of 17 and never looked back. Over the years, he has won the Breeder’s Cup Classic, the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness Stakes, the Dubai World Cup and the Belmont, as well as won more races at Saratoga than any jockey in history. Along the way, Bailey has ridden such sensational horses as Black Tie Affair, Hansel, Sea Hero, Concern, Red Bullet, Captain Steve Empire Maker and Grindstone. Jerry Bailey has hand signed this 16×20 photograph of him riding Grindstone to victory at the 122nd Kentucky Derby on May 4, 1996 and added the inscription, “96 Ky Derby”. This photograph comes complete with a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.

The Trainer

Horse race training is an art and a good trainer will always get a serious edge. So its a must to have a look on the best trainer of the track you play on.

Check the previous year average of the trainer. At the end of the meeting check the average of the current year. Same things as for jockey, try to know who is hot and who is not.

In thoroughbred, some trainer are good on turf some are not. In harness race, some trainer are good with trotter some are better with pacer. It is very important to know if that trainer stable is hot or cold. An hot stable can bring many winner inside 1 or 2 weeks.

Why is hot ? Sometimes they put some stimulate addition in the horse food or the vetenary visit the stable or other reasons.

The Spectacular Thoroughbred Race

The Horse

Considering wich horse is the best for that particular race is a very interesting part of horse race strategy.

First don’t be sentimental. I saw many handicapper over evaluate the chance of a horse for sentimental reason. Endurance, speed and shape of the horse are all important element. You should look at the most recent performance wich is the more important. What kind of race does he or she made. Don’t over evaluate the time. Pay more attention of how the horse react. Did he finished very strong ? Did he make a move in the race that cause his defeat ? Did he make a very tough race ? I don’t like horse with consecutive big effort race. For exemple, the horse goes in front and was attacked in fast fraction and was beaten; next race he was caught way outside for all race and was beaten again. That horse may be tired.

Always watch the horse that come back from a rest. Specially the first 3 start after a rest. If the horse improve pay attention he can be your winner. If only one of the previous race looks terrible just forget it and check the other one. Horses are living creature sometimes they feel sick, bad mood and thousand of reason why a horse did not perform well. Once, its an accident more than one, be careful its a risky bet.

The class is also a big factor. If the horse raise class too much be careful. He may not be able to perform as well as the previous race. I like the horse with class raise only if he is in an improvement process. Be careful with horse who drop class. Sometimes the trainer make the horse look bad in previous race to make sure he can get the class drop. But if the trainer is not one of the best it is possible that the horse facing problem and I wouldn’t bet on him. The age of the horse can be a factor, some horse can not perform as well as before when they getting old. Sometimes the horse is tired and need a break. Check how many consecutive race he has run.

Where to Play ?

Where to play ? is one of the most important topic and probably the one that is less discussed in the world of horse race strategy.

Imagine some off track betting salon takes 5% to 10% of all your gain. If you add what the original horse track take from the betting pool and the taxes perceive by different government level, the house edge of any casino is a piece of cake.

Thats why I never play serious money on horse race anywhere else than online. Some website offering me the payment of the track where the race is running and bonus percentage of my loosing bet.

Did you find these conditions in any land base horse race betting salon in North America ?

I Recommand Pinnacle Sports

7% Rebate on your lost You will not find a better website to play horse race. Great bonus and track ods payment. If you are a horse race fans or amateur open an account today and see the difference it makes in your pocket.

The Caribbean Poker is a very hard casino games. The house edge is very high. I don’t recommand to play that game even if its possible to beat casino with a lot of money and discipline. There is a couple of gambling strategy that can gives spectacular result.

Also known as Caribbean Stud Poker it’s an exciting game of strategy which is easy to learn. This game also offers the player the possibility to make a supplemental bet to try to win a progressive jackpot. I will not play that game in any online casino.

Here is more information about Caribbean Poker.

The Caribbean Poker Goal

To set a five-card hand which ranks higher than the dealer’s hand.

The Cards

Caribbean Poker is played with one standard deck of 52 cards. The ranking of the cards, in decreasing order, is Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. An Ace may be used to complete an Ace-2-3-4-5 straight or straight flush.

The Caribbean Poker Bets

Using value chips purchased from the dealer, each player places his ante or initial bet (mise) on the designated area on the layout before the dealer announces “Rien ne va plus” (No more bets) and the cards are dealt. The bets must respect the minimum and maximum limits indicated at the table. Each player is permitted to play only one hand per game.

The Deal

The dealer distributes five cards, face down, to each player in turn, and also deals himself five cards, face down, one of which he then exposes.

The Hands

After having examined his hand, the player has the option of making an additional bet (relance) equal to twice the amount of his ante. If the player decides not to make an additional bet, he loses his ante. Players are not authorized to show their cards nor to discuss them with other players. Once all the players have made their decisions and placed their cards face down on the layout, the dealer exposes his cards and sets the highest ranking poker hand possible.

To open, the dealer must have at least a King and an Ace or a higher ranking hand. When the dealer can open, he exposes, in turn, the cards of all the players who have placed an additional bet. If two hands are of equal ranking, based on the foregoing combinations, or if they contain none of these combinations, the hand with the highest ranking card is considered the highest ranking hand; otherwise the hands are considered to be of equal ranking.

The Combinations

The ranking of Caribbean Poker combinations, in decreasing order, is as follows:

Royal flush: Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10 of the same suit.

Straight flush: five cards of the same suit in consecutive order, with King-Queen-Jack-10-9 being the highest ranking straight flush and Ace-2-3-4-5 being the lowest ranking straight flush.

Four-of-a-kind: four cards of the same rank, with four Aces being the highest ranking four-of-a-kind and four 2s being the lowest ranking four-of-a-kind.

Full house: three-of-a-kind and a pair, with three Aces and two Kings being the highest ranking full house, and three 2s and two 3s being the lowest ranking full house.

Flush: five cards of the same suit.

Straight: five cards in consecutive order, regardless of suit, with Ace-King-Queen-Jack-10 being the highest ranking straight and Ace-2-3-4-5 being the lowest ranking straight.

Three-of-a-kind: three cards of the same rank, with three Aces being the highest ranking three-of-a-kind and three 2s being the lowest ranking three-of-a-kind.

Two pair: two sets of two cards of the same rank, with two Aces and two Kings being the highest ranking two pair and two 2s and two 3s being the lowest ranking two pair.

Pair: two cards of the same rank, with two Aces being the highest ranking pair and two 2s being the lowest ranking pair.

Caribbean Poker Payouts

If the player has made an additional bet and the dealer cannot open, the player’s ante is paid even money and his additional bet is a push.

If the hand of the player who has made an additional bet ranks higher than the dealer’s hand and the dealer can open, the player’s ante wins and is paid even money, and his additional bet wins and is paid according to the chart to the right.

If the hand of the player who has made an additional bet ranks lower than the dealer’s hand and the dealer can open, the player’s ante and additional bet lose.

If the hand of the player who has made an additional bet is equal in rank to that of the dealer and the dealer can open, the bets are a push.

HAND PAYOUT*

Royal flush ————- 100 to 1

Straight flush———— 50 to 1

Four-of-a-kind ———– 20 to 1

Full house ————— 7 to 1

Flush ——————– 5 to 1

Straight —————– 4 to 1

Three-of-a-kind ———- 3 to 1

Two pair —————– 2 to 1

Pair of Aces / Kings —– 1 to 1

The Progressive Jackpot of Caribbean Poker

In addition to the ante, the player may place a supplemental bet of $1, also called “progressive” bet, to try to win all or part of the progressive jackpot amount indicated on the display panel at the table. Caribbean poker supplemental bet must be placed in the designated area on the layout before the dealer announces “Rien ne va plus” (No more bets) and the cards are distributed. The supplemental bet wins if the player’s hand is a royal flush, a straight flush, a four-of-a-kind, a full house, or a flush, regardless of the ranking of the dealer’s hand, and is paid as follows:

HAND PAYOUT*

Royal flush ————— 100% of the progressive jackpot

Straight flush ———— 10%

Four-of-a-kind ———— $500

Full house —————- $100

Flush ——————— $50

The amount and percentage can vary depending of the Casino but these payouts gives you and idea of the general average proportions.

Wanna Play Caribbean Poker

Play only when the progressive Jackpot is very high. I highly recommand $200 000 and more.

Golden Palace Casino offer online Caribbean Stud Poker and you can get an edge only when the jackpot is very high. You should use their $300 top gambling bonus to play that poker game and remember don’t criticize if you loose. That game is very tough. But you can win big !

Why using the Stock Market strategy ? Well, you start making money with your gambling now you should think about investing your gain somewhere. It is important to drink at different source in that manner you will protect yourself from the high and lows of any gambler and stock market is the best place to invest your money.

Generally speaking, there is two schools about stock market trading. The short term and the long term. Most of the people use the long term strategy. They don’t have to worry about what happen on the market all the time. They are doing investment for their retirement and they use different government plan for saving. It’s surely the safest stock maket strategy to make money. With good advisor they slowly accumulate capital.

The other school is short term stock market strategy or commonly call day trading. It is somehow more risky. If you are not an expert and even though many expert fall into the inevitable variations trend leading by greed and fear.

Day Trading or Long Term Investment ?

Any and both of them is my answer. My stock market strategy and the one I recommand consist of making a list of good and solid long term companies presenting good growth potential for the next 3 years and play with them on short term basis.

Buy these good solid companies stock when the market is weak and resell them when the market is strong. If the weak market getting weaker, I am not in worry because I am confident and I will remain patient cause I don’t like loosing money. If the weak market getting stronger, I let it go until I am satisfied with my profit or until the raise seems reaching the end.

Buy Compu Credit Corp (CCRT)

Its a good time to buy that solid company. The actual price is very low and I believe that stock can just raise in the next few weeks.

Stock Market Strategy Exemple

To illustrate my point, here’s the kind of company that I like and the way to play with it.

The company is Starbuck (SBUX). You like coffee I like coffee and I love the profit I make with Starbuck. I show you how.

See the graphic below is the chart of that stock for the last 2 years.

1st Transaction

You can see that around April 2006 the price drop around $30. In fact, I bought the stock at the price $31.50. About one month later the price raise to $35 and start to drop again. I sell $34.50.

Let’s say you invest $1000 when you resell you get $1095. 9.5% profit in 3 weeks.

2nd Transaction

The price drop to $32.50 and start to raise again. I rebuy at $33.00. Then the raise wasn’t very strong so I keep it. Then suddenly move up very fast to reach $38 before start to drop. I sell $37.50.

This time you invest $1095 when you resell you get $1245. 13% profit in 5 weeks.

3rd Transaction

Then it drop again under $35. I rebuy $35.00 then it raise fast to $37.00 not enough to resell. Then drop very fast again until $33.50. Then just before October 2006 the price drop again to reach $32.00.

*(Another rebuy is needed there but I will explain that later)

I held the stock cause I am confident no reason to panic. Then the price jump reaching $42.50 before it show a sign of weakness. I resell $42.00.

The investment was $1245 leading to $1495. A nice 20% profit in 4 1/2 months.

4th Transaction

After that, the price will show a very weak trend. Finally the dropped stop under $30. I rebuy at $30. Raise to $33.75 and reseel at $33.25.

$1495 investment leads this time to $1655. 10% profit in two weeks.

5th Transaction

The price drop again under $30. Rebuy at $30. Raise to $33. Resell at $32.50.

$1655 investment leads to $1795. 8% in one week.

6th Transaction

The price drop again under $30 second redrop. I rebuy $30. Raise over $33 and resell $32.50.

$1795 investment leads to $1945. Another 8% this time takes 3 weeks.

7th Transaction

Then you saw the price drop very fast to $25. I rebuy $26.00. Then raise to $29.75. I resell $29.00.

$1945 investment leads to $2170. 11.5% profit in two months.

8th Transaction

The the price reach drop under $25 again. Rebuy at $25. After that the price will drop under $23.00 Holding the stock with confident until the raise come again reaching $28. Resell at $27.50.

$2170 investment leads to $2385. 10% profit in two months.

9th Transaction

The price drop to $25.50 and I rebuy at $26.00. Couple of weeks later the price reach $29.75 and I resell at $29.00.

$2385 investment leads to $2660. 11.5% profit.

10th Transaction

The price drop again to $27.50. I rebuy at $28.00. 1 month later the price get over $32.00. I resell $31.50.

$2660 investment leads to $2995. 12.5% profit in three weeks.

Conclusion

First time I bought the stock in March 2006 I pay $30.00.If I was a long term investor I will still own the stock now while the price almost the same. So my $1000 initial investment will still be $1000. Everything is fine no problem with that. Next year that stock will reach $40 I believe.

But with my stock market strategy I almost triple my money for the same period. I made 20 transactions so I pay $200 in brokerage fee.Wich represent a high percentage but the $1000 was only an exemple. If you invest $10 000 instead of $1000 the fees could be the same but the percentage much lower.

Additionnal Strategy

When the stock drop in a significant manner after you bought it, you can bought some more. That will lowering your average price and so you can resell at a lower level and make more profit. I suggest adding 25% of your initial investment not more than twice.

If you look at the graphic. In July 2006 you bought the stock $35.00 but it drop to $33.50 until start to raise.

You rebuy at $34.00.

25% of your initial investment.

In October 2006 the price drop again to $32.50.

You rebuy at $33.00

Another 25% of your initial investment. Now your average is not $35.00 anymore but $34.50. When the raise come your profit will be higher.

My Stock Market Picks

Recently the overall market drop in a significant manner. So now a lot of good deal appears on the market.

Starbuck is one of them but I am patient and I wait until next week to make sure the bear trend is over. So visit the site regularly I believe next week will be a good time to buy.
