SUPERFECTA STRATEGY
It is not easy to find a good superfecta strategy as that bet is very risky. Superfecta betting ask you to pick the first four finishers in a horse race in exact order quite a challenge.
Of course, the payment goes with the challenge. Winning a superfecta pay regularly over $25 000, I have see a couple of times paying more than $100 000 so it worth a try.
Since it is very difficult to determine the top four finishing horses without playing a lot of combinations which can be very costly, the superfecta is not a very popular bet among seasoned handicappers. If by chance, the top four finishers are a standout and easily determined, then the return on the wager is generally very low and can easily be smaller than the amount of money required to hit the winning combination. Nevertheless, I will give you the details if you choose to be daring.
Superfecta Bet Type
Straight Superfecta
The simplest form of this wager is the Straight Superfecta, which is a single combination of the first four finishers. The minimum bet for a Straight Superfecta is $2.
I recommand you never play a straight superfecta strategy. I will explain why later.
Superfecta Box
The Superfecta Box has a $1 minimum bet per combination — $24 minimum total cost. You can box four or more horses on a single ticket and wager $1 (or more) on each combination. Recently some Race Track offer $0.20 bet.
The following examples are for a $1 Superfecta Box:
4 horse box ( 24 combinations) Cost $ 245 horse box (120 combinations) Cost $1206 horse box (460 combinations) Cost $4607 horse box (840 combinations) Cost $840
The following exemples are for a $0.20 Superfecta Box:
4 horse box ( 24 combinations) Cost $4.805 horse box (120 combinations) Cost $246 horse box (460 combinations) Cost $927 horse box (840 combinations) Cost $168
Superfecta Key
The Key Wager requires the key horse to finish FIRST with any combination of three or more horses finishing second, third and fourth. For example, if your key horse is #5 and your other horses are number’s 2, 4, 6 and 8, you will win if #5 finishes FIRST and three of your other four horses finish second, third and fourth.
Superfecta Full Wheel
You may select one or more horses to finish in any given position and combine these selections withall possible entries in the other positions. The number of combinations will vary according to the total number of horses in the race.
Superfecta Part Wheel
The Superfecta Part Wheel is offered at a $1 minimum bet per combination and recently some horse track offer $0.20 bet. It is now possible to make a Superfecta wager coupling one or more horses to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The Superfecta Gambling Strategy
Ok ! Enough of the general informations about superfecta let’s get into the matter of making money with that bet.
First thing to understand
about superfecta is that the betting pool must be big enough. You must play superfecta where the pool is big. Avoid to bet superfecta in small horse race track. Why ???
Like any other bet you do on horse race remember its a mutual wagering and you can’t win the money that is not in the pool. So the biggest is the pool the biggest are the chances you win big.
Win big must be the goal of playing superfecta.
Second thing: Play the smallest amount per bet or combination possible. If ever you got the chance to play $0.20 superfecta where the mutual pool is big play there. Why ???
Say for exemple you catch a superfecta using big long shot in your combination. By chance you are the only one playing that combination. You will win the complete pool no matter you bet $2, $1 or 0.20 per bet and collect the same amount of money.
Favorite & Long Shot Superfecta Strategy
Here’s the strategy I use and suggest you do the same.
Choose two horse that seems the most likely to win the race. We call them A1 and A2.
Take the two highest long shot on the board place them in the second spot. We call them L1 and L2.
Random the 3rd and 4th place as you like.
Cost for $0.20A1-A2 with L1-L2 with 2 horses (3rd-4th) $1.60
with 3 horses $4.80
with 4 horses $9.60
with 5 horses $16.00
Fisrt Half Speed Superfecta Strategy
Another very good superfecta strategy is about guessing if the starter or the staller will get the advantage. Divide the field in two 4 horses with fast start speed call them the A and 4 horses without call them the B.
Pick the one you like the most between the A call him A1.Put him first and second as a key with the three others.
A1 (A-A-A) (A-A-A) (A-A-A) $6.00 for $1.00 bet
(A-A-A) A1 (A-A-A) (A-A-A) $6.00 for $1.00 bet
Same process with the 4 staller horses.
Conclusion
Don’t expect regular gain with superfecta strategy. The idea behind that bet is to win big once in a while. I recommand you keep a seperate bankroll and record about that bet.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

I knew it was just a matter of time before Olbermann blew up and left MSNBC. His ego had gotten way too big and finally it looks like management got tired of dealing with it. I hope Comcast steps in and restores some balance to MSNBC politically. Every show on there is hyper-ventilating Republican and Tea Party bashing all day long. It’s actually refreshing to watch CNN sometimes because they actually cover the news. There is so much more that goes on in the world besides the latest Sarah Palin statement and the left wing getting in a tizzy over it. But, that is what passes for “news” on MSNBC. It’s anti-Sarah Palin all day long, so much so I just get sick of it and turn it off or go to Fox or CNN or C-Span if something is going on. I look for Chris Matthews to be next. His show doesn’t even break the Top 20 in Cable TV ratings. He is simply unwatchable due to his hectoring the guests and constantly interrupting him. I don’t see why people go on his show - they never get to talk. Olbermann was entertaining at times yet he took himself way too seriously and I’m glad to see someone burst his little bubble he created for himself and got away with for several years there on MSNBC - The Home of Sarah Palin Bashing 24/7 (except when Lockup reruns are on).

Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
