My father was a gambling man. He dream to make living with gambling but he use to play and loose at all kind of games. He lost everything to his passion for gaming. He lost his fortune, his friends, his wife (my mother) and finally his life. I’ve spend my youth listening to people’s gossip against him and at the end, I think I was the only one who still love him and still admire him. Today, I am still proud of him. He was stubborn and he leaves that characteristic to me and I keep it. He was a looser and he leaves that characteristic to me also but I destroy it.

My father use to bring me with him to horse race track. That was the only gambling activity where adult can bring children with them. So very young, I learn everything about horse race. At 15 years old, I was already a very good horse race handicapper and try to help my father making money but he never listen to me … He always said : ‘If I can have more money to invest, I will win’. So one day on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I was 16 and I catch six races in a row and won $10 000 and I gave it to him. I told him: ‘Hey Dad, I was lucky. Now you can invest the money so we are not going to loose anymore’.

He told me about a betting system and I was very impress about that. After 4 days the system failed and he lost everything. He swear to pay me back wich of course never happen. That day I learn something … there is gambling systems but people keep on loosing.

My father play in Casino also. He used to say to my mother : ‘I will bring your son to play baseball’ but instead, he left me in the car in the casino parking lot while he goes inside to play. I’ve stay in the car many times listening radio and playing different games with dice. I think till I reach 13 years old, I learn more mathematics throwing dice than in schoolin course. When we come back sometimes very late my mother asked me : Where did you guys go ? But I never betrayed my father and always repeat what he told me to say. But my mom wasnt stupid and she finally divorced. After that I saw my father only during week-end and we still go together to horse race.

One day, he came to me I was 21 years old and he said that he found a system at the roulette.

He was looking for money to start. He showed me the ingeneous system and we tried. The first day we make $4 000 and the table supervisor start to take note on how we play. Then the next day, they start disturbing us. Sometimes a guy came smelling terrible pushing us when we try to place the chips on the table and talking to us all the time. Anyhow after a month, we still make around $12 000 but my father can’t stand it anymore and he decide to stop. He disappear for a while. When I last saw him, he was very depress and he told me: ‘The casino refuse to let me win and anyway I’m just a damn looser’. He was living miserably in a small room without any friends or woman. I’ve try to comfort him but two weeks later, they found him dead along side the river and the police conclude of a suicide. Thats why and how I decide to seek revenge and start working seriously against casino.
